The Budget session of the Tamil Nadu Assembly, which began on Friday will be held till April 30.
A decision to this effect was taken at the Business Advisory Committee meeting held at Speaker M Appavu’s Chamber soon after Finance Minister Thangam Thennarasu presented the last full fledged state budget for the year 2025-26.
Next year, an interim budget would be presented as Assembly elections are due in April-May.
Talking to reporters, Appavu said the Agriculture Budget would be tabled
by Agrictulture Minister MRK Panneerselvam Saturday.
After adopting condolence resolutions, the debate on the General and
Agriculture budgets would be held from Monday to Thursday and it would be followed by the Minister’s reply on Friday
