The Tamil Nadu Police Department has announced the transfer of 12 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) across various districts and divisions. The transfer order was issued on Tuesday by DGP and Head of Police Force, G. Venkataraman.
According to the order, T. Joseph, Assistant Commissioner (Armed Reserve), Chennai, has been posted to the Adyar Traffic Enforcement Division. M. Rajan, Assistant Commissioner (Traffic Division), Tambaram Police, has been transferred to the Armed Reserve, Tiruvannamalai District.
Similarly, S. Janagiram, DSP (Armed Reserve), Pudukottai District, has been appointed as Assistant Commissioner, Traffic (West), Coimbatore City Police.
Further internal postings and adjustments among other officers have also been made as part of this reshuffle aimed at strengthening the police administration across the state.
