Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has said that Tamil Nadu is a pioneer state in addressing climate change and has taken bold steps to protect the environment while promoting sustainable development.

He was speaking at an event where he highlighted the state’s achievements in environmental conservation and climate action.

Stalin pointed to various state initiatives, including renewable energy expansion, water conservation efforts, and pollution control measures, as examples of Tamil Nadu’s commitment to combating climate change and building a greener future.

He stressed that sustainable practices are essential for protecting natural resources and improving quality of life for citizens.

The Chief Minister also urged other states to adopt similar climate-friendly policies and collaborate on national and global efforts to reduce carbon emissions and enhance environmental resilience.

According to him, Tamil Nadu’s proactive approach can serve as a model for other regions to follow in the fight against climate change.
