IAF exam: Four from Haryana arrested for impersonation

Chennai, Aug 4:

In a shocking incident, four people from Haryana, who indulged in malpractices in the Indian Air Force (IAF) recruitment examination at Avadi Air Force Station, were arrested on Monday.

Perhaps, this was for the first time, alleged malpractices have come to light in exams said to have been conducted by the defence minsitry.

Of the, two were arrested on charges of impersonation, while the other two were held for having used GSM transmitters to get answers.

The quartet were identified as Gaurav and Anil who were held for impersonation, and Chauhan and Deepak arrested for using transmitters.

Police have registered a case and are conducting a detailed investigation into the network.
