Chief Minister M. K. Stalin attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party and its alliance with the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, declaring that Tamil Nadu’s “superfast engine” would never bow before the BJP’s “dabba engine.” Speaking at a party conference in Coimbatore, Stalin called the AIADMK-BJP tie-up a “circus” led by the BJP and termed it an opportunistic alliance formed only for elections.
