Ranipet, May 15: In a horrifying incident that has sent shockwaves through Ranipet district, a man allegedly murdered his estranged wife, her mother, and another woman in a single night, reportedly driven by personal grievances.
The accused, Balu, had recently married Bhuvaneshwari from Keelapudupet. Bhuvaneshwari, currently eight months pregnant, had separated from Balu due to his alleged inappropriate relationship with a man named Vijay. Following the separation, she returned to her maternal home in Keelapudupet.
On the night of May 14, Balu, reportedly distraught over the separation, allegedly went on a violent spree. He is accused of killing his mother-in-law, Bharathi; Vijay’s father, Annamalai; and a woman named Rajeswari. All three victims were reportedly hacked to death.
Police have arrested Balu and are conducting a thorough investigation into the murders. Preliminary inquiries suggest that the killings were motivated by personal vendettas and emotional turmoil stemming from the marital discord.
This tragic event underscores the devastating consequences of unresolved personal conflicts and highlights the importance of seeking help and mediation in times of emotional distress.
