Uddhav Sena has made it clear that it is not against the Hindi language. The party said its opposition is only to the Maharashtra government’s move to impose Hindi as a third language in Classes I to V.After Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin extended support, Uddhav Sena MP Sanjay Raut responded, saying their stand is different. “We are not anti-Hindi. We speak Hindi, enjoy Hindi films, theatre, and music. Our issue is only with forcing Hindi on primary school children,” he said.
Raut added that their protest is limited to the education policy and not a larger anti-Hindi movement. “We haven’t stopped anyone from speaking Hindi here,” he said, drawing a clear line between their position and Stalin’s broader opposition to Hindi.
