Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, during his visit to Germany, highlighted that the state is witnessing unprecedented industrial growth under the “Dravidian Model” of governance. Addressing global investors and members of the Tamil diaspora, he underlined Tamil Nadu’s achievements in becoming a key industrial hub in India.
Stalin said Tamil Nadu now leads the nation in industrial employment, contributing over 15% of India’s total factory workforce. The state hosts more than 40,100 operational industrial units, the highest in the country. These milestones, he said, reflect the government’s consistent efforts to strengthen infrastructure, support industries, and create a skilled workforce.
He attributed Tamil Nadu’s success to its stable law-and-order situation, robust infrastructure network, well-trained manpower, and pro-business policies. These strengths, Stalin said, have turned the state into a magnet for industrial investment, attracting companies from across India and the world.
The Chief Minister’s statement was part of his broader outreach to international investors, where he urged them to explore opportunities in Tamil Nadu. He emphasized that the state offers a conducive business environment and is well-positioned to be a global manufacturing and innovation hub.
Stalin also engaged with members of the Tamil diaspora, encouraging them to contribute to the state’s growth. He called on them to promote Tamil Nadu’s industrial potential globally and to remain connected with their cultural heritage. Initiatives like “Roots to Heritage,” he said, aim to strengthen ties between the global Tamil community and their home state.
This visit is part of Stalin’s efforts to boost Tamil Nadu’s international presence and attract significant foreign investments. By showcasing the state’s industrial achievements, the Chief Minister hopes to build long-term economic partnerships and create more opportunities for the people of Tamil Nadu.
