The highly anticipated audio launch and Thalapathy Thiruvizha concert for Vijay’s upcoming film Jana Nayagan is set to take place tomorrow, at Stadium Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The event has generated massive excitement, with tickets nearly sold out and an estimated 90,000 fans expected to attend.

The event will feature music from the film composed by Anirudh Ravichander and is billed as a grand celebration ahead of the film’s January 9, 2026 release during the Pongal season. Jana Nayagan is also being promoted as Vijay’s final film before he transitions into active politics.

In light of Vijay’s political profile and the event’s scale, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) have imposed a strict ban on political speeches and political symbols at the occasion.

Authorities have clarified that permission was granted solely for an entertainment event and warned that anyone violating the rules — including speeches, banners, symbols, vehicles, or live political broadcasts — will face action. Cheras District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Aidil Bolhassan emphasised that the programme must remain free of politics.

Organisers, including Malik Streams Corporation, which is distributing the film in Malaysia, have assured that the Thalapathy Thiruvizha concert and audio launch will comply with the regulations and focus purely on entertainment.

Fans are gearing up for what promises to be a landmark event blending cinema, music and celebration, albeit within the boundaries set by local authorities to ensure safety and neutrality.

Alongside Vijay in the lead role, the film stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead and Bobby Deol in a key role, marking his significant entry into Tamil cinema. The supporting cast includes noted actors Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Narain, Monisha Blessy and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, adding depth and experience to the lineup.

Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, Jana Nayagan is shaping up as a major political‑action drama.
