Chennai, Apr 7:
BJP leader K Annamalai has said he will campaign extensively across Tamil Nadu for party candidates in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Clarifying that he is not contesting the polls, Annamalai stated that his primary focus is to strengthen the BJP and the NDA alliance by actively campaigning in constituencies across the state.
He emphasised that he would travel throughout Tamil Nadu to support party nominees and ensure the alliance’s victory, underlining that “campaigning is my role” in this election.
The BJP leader’s decision comes amid discussions over his absence from the party’s candidate list, with the party assigning him a key responsibility in leading campaign efforts statewide.
Annamalai’s statewide outreach is expected to play a crucial role in energising cadres and boosting the NDA’s prospects as the election campaign gathers momentum.
