Chennai,  Oct 1:
Greater Chennai Corporation has intensified mosquito-control measures as dengue cases in the city have crossed 1,775, amid a rise in monsoon-related fevers.
Civic teams have stepped up source reduction, fogging and other preventive measures in vulnerable areas. Health officials have also urged residents to prevent stagnant water from accumulating around homes and report mosquito-breeding spots.
