SportzPro & Tamilnadu Athletic Association conducted the 2nd edition of Tamilnadu Marathon in Chennai.
A press release said that 1,542 people participated in the Half Marathon, 10 KM and 5 Km fun Run.
“The objective of Tamilnadu Marathon was to create awareness on the importance of Women and Children Safety. The marathon was flagged off by Sabari Nair, Sonali Jain, Sangeetha sundaram, Dr Saranya Jai Kumar, Srimati Kesan, Arti Arun, Unni Nair and Balaji Rathinam,” the release added.
Rameshwar Vijay Munjal from Maharashtra – 21 kms, Ram Parihar from Uttarpradesh – 10 Kms and Nirmal from Madurai – 5 Kms emerged as the winner.
This edition of Tamilnadu Marathon was supported by the newly launched Tamilnadu Police Kaaval Uthavi App & The Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal.
