Tamil Nadu BJP has filed a complaint against a parent employed under the Central government accusing him of violating service rule for questioning Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi about when he would give assent for the NEET exemption bill. The parent, identified as Ammasiyappan, is a Central government employee in Salem. The BJP said that he had violated service rules, and written to the General Manager of Salem Steel Plant demanding his removal from the service.
Ammasiyappan had a debate with the Governor during an event to felicitate Tamil Nadu’s NEET rank-holders by Raj Bhavan.
