Chennai: On the very day actor Vijay unveiled his political party’s flag, controversies and challenges began to surface. A complaint was lodged at the Chennai Police Commissioner’s office today, just a day after Vijay’s much-anticipated flag launch.
Yesterday, Vijay’s fans across Tamil Nadu celebrated in grand style, as the actor’s entry into politics was confirmed with the official unveiling of his party’s flag. The announcement put an end to speculation and marked a significant moment in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape.
Prior to the launch, Vijay had meticulously prepared for the flag introduction. While his fans initially assumed that the yellow flag, which was seen during rehearsals, would be the official party flag, Vijay surprised everyone by unveiling a flag featuring both yellow and deep red colors. This unexpected twist has created a stir in the state’s political scene.
Political parties across Tamil Nadu, including DMK, AIADMK, Congress, and BJP, have shared their reactions to Vijay’s political entry and the launch of his party’s flag. Notably, Durai Murugan, the Minister of Water Resources, gave a particularly sharp and witty response. When asked by reporters in Vellore about his thoughts on Vijay’s flag launch, Durai Murugan quipped, “I will see it when it flies,” adding a humorous touch to the ongoing political discourse.
