Sivaganga custodial death: Five Cops arrested

A total of five police officers linked to the recent custodial death in Sivaganga district have been arrested.
According to an official release, Ajithkumar was taken in for inquiry on June 28, regarding a case. Later, he died in police custody.
On the same day, six police officers were suspended immediately.
All legal procedures were followed properly. A post-mortem was conducted, and once the report was received, further action was taken without delay.
The case was then changed to a murder investigation. Based on the findings, five police officers were arrested.
A case has been filed at the Thiruppuvanam Police Station.
