Former minister Vellamandi Natarajan has rejoined the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), marking a notable political development in Tamil Nadu.
Natarajan formally returned to the party in the presence of senior leaders and supporters. Speaking on the occasion, he reaffirmed his commitment to the AIADMK’s principles and said he would work to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
Party functionaries welcomed his return, stating that his experience and influence would help consolidate support in his region, especially with the Assembly elections approaching.
His comeback is seen as part of the AIADMK’s broader effort to regroup and reinforce its organisational structure ahead of the next electoral battle.
