Kolkata, Mar 30:

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has released a political “chargesheet” targeting the government led by Mamata Banerjee ahead of the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections.
The document highlights alleged failures over the past 15 years, including corruption, governance issues, infiltration and law-and-order concerns.

Addressing a press conference, Shah said the election is a choice between “fear and trust,” accusing the ruling Trinamool Congress of misrule and vote-bank politics.

The move is seen as a key part of the BJP’s campaign strategy, intensifying the political battle in the state ahead of polling.
