Chennai, Apr 11:
The election campaign of Joseph Vijay, founder of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), has been cancelled once again, this time in Cuddalore district, amid the ongoing Assembly poll campaign.
According to party sources, Vijay was scheduled to campaign across four locations, including Cuddalore and Vadalur, on April 11. However, the events were called off due to “administrative reasons,” despite prior permission being granted for the meetings.
This marks yet another disruption in Vijay’s campaign schedule. Earlier, multiple campaign events in Chennai were also cancelled, reportedly due to logistical constraints and restrictions imposed on timings and movement.
Vijay has been actively touring the State, campaigning in several districts including Chennai, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli and Karaikudi as part of TVK’s maiden electoral push.
