Chennai, June 13:
Ayush Mhatre inaugurated the first-ever Singapore centre of the Super Kings Academy at the Singapore Cricket Club on June 12, marking a key international expansion for the coaching programme run by Chennai Super Kings.
The new academy operates across two premium facilities at Padang and Dempsey, offering international-standard pitches, nets, floodlights, and structured coaching for young cricketers.
ICC Deputy Chairman Imran Khawaja attended the launch, where Mhatre interacted with students and participated in on-field sessions, highlighting the academy’s focus on grassroots development and global outreach.
Launched in 2022, Super Kings Academy now has over 45 centres worldwide, including India, the USA, Australia, Canada, and Singapore, aiming to develop the next generation of cricket talent through professional coaching and modern infrastructure.
