G.V. Prakash Kumar’s music label has acquired the audio rights of Enna Vilai, the critically acclaimed film directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sajeev Pazhoor.
Starring Karunaas and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles, the film has music by Sam C.S. Its first single, Kadaladum, featuring vocals by Antony Daasan, has already been released through G.V. Prakash Kumar’s official music platform.
Enna Vilai has been receiving appreciation on the international film festival circuit. The film won Best Feature Film at the Mannheim Arts and Film Festival in Germany and Best Screenplay at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival. It was also officially selected for the Kaia International Film Festival in Istanbul and the Atlanta Indian Film Festival in the US.
The film marks an important milestone in Karunaas’ 25-year journey in Tamil cinema, while Nimisha Sajayan brings her acclaimed acting credentials to the project.
Produced by Githesh Viswambharan and Anugopal Venugopalan under the Kalamaya Cineverse banner, Enna Vilai is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release in September 2026.
The acquisition of the audio rights by G.V. Prakash’s label is expected to add further momentum to the film’s musical journey, with more soundtrack updates expected soon.
