Twenty three more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in Tamilnadu on Sunday, taking the total number of persons infected to 34,52,910.

Tamilnadu reported a marginal increase in fresh Covid-19 cases for the second consecutive day on Wednesday with 39 new cases, compared to 37 cases on Tuesday and 33 on Monday.
As many as twenty-six of the 38 districts in Tamilnadu had no new Covid-19 cases and five districts reported one case each on Monday when the State added 33 new cases to its registry.
Tamilnadu on Friday night reported 37 new Covid-19 infections, taking the cases so far to 34,52,612. With zero deaths, the toll remains at 38,025.

As many as seven districts of Tamilnadu reported zero active cases on Wednesday but elsewhere in the State 44 infections were reported. After six days, Tamilnadu reported one death due to Covid-19 from Cuddalore on Thursday night. However, seventeen districts in the State had no new Covid-19 cases and nine others had one case each.
