Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has strongly condemned the recent gang rape of a young woman near Coimbatore International Airport, calling the incident “inhuman” and stating that no words are enough to denounce such a brutal crime.
Emphasizing the urgency for justice, Stalin announced that the perpetrators were swiftly arrested and directed the police to file a chargesheet within a month while ensuring they receive the maximum punishment under the law.
The three accused, who allegedly abducted a postgraduate female student after assaulting her male companion, were caught in an encounter with the police.
Stalin praised the prompt police action and reiterated his commitment to uphold Tamil Nadu’s social progress by protecting women’s rights and safety at all levels.
