Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) met with Vice-President of India C.P. Radhakrishnan in Chennai. 

Congress MP from Karur, Jothimani, has strongly criticised the Tamil Nadu unit of the Congress, accusing it of moving on a “path of destruction” due to internal conflicts and selfish interests of a few leaders.

Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan told students that rapid advances in technology, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI), are bringing major changes and challenges, and that earning a degree alone will not be enough to succeed in the future. 

A ministerial delegation of the Tamil Nadu government held fresh discussions with executives of the Joint Action Council of Tamil Nadu Teachers’ Organisations and Government Employees’ Organisations (JACTO‑GEO) and the allied POTO‑GEO groups on Friday at the State Secretariat in Chennai amid growing tensions over a proposed indefinite strike from 6 January.
