Chennai, Oct 3:
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has initiated a series of reforms aimed at making aviation security procedures simpler and quicker for people working at Indian airports.
The reforms are being implemented through the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) as part of efforts to improve operational efficiency while maintaining security standards.
The ministry said the measures are intended to reduce procedural difficulties and improve the efficiency of security-related processes for airport personnel.
The reforms come as Indian airports continue to handle rising passenger traffic, requiring security procedures to remain effective while ensuring smoother airport operations.
