For those who are planning to go to their native place or hometowns in Tamil Nadu for this deepavali festival, a special train would run between Chennai Egmore and Thoothukudi.Information collected is that the special train 06001 would start from Chennai Egmore on 10th ad 12th November at 11:45 pm in the night and would arrive at Thoothukudi the next day at 12:30pm in the afternoon.
In the opposite direction, train 06002 would start from Thoothukudi on 11th and 13th of November at 3:30pm in the evening and would arrive at Chennai Egmore at 4:45 am the next morning.
