Senior AIADMK leader KA Sengottaiyan has denied reports that he secretly met expelled leaders, including O. Panneerselvam.Speaking to reporters, Sengottaiyan said his recent trip to Chennai was for personal reasons and not political. He dismissed the rumours as attempts to damage his reputation.
The former minister said his aim has always been to strengthen AIADMK and fulfil the dreams of MGR and Jayalalithaa. He stressed that he has not held any talks with anyone regarding this matter.
Sengottaiyan recalled that he has been a loyal member of the party for over 45 years and considers the party and the people as his lifeline.
