The trailer of the upcoming film Anantha, directed by Suresh Krissna and produced by Girish Krishnamoorthy, was unveiled at a grand event in the presence of Durga Stalin. The film features an ensemble cast including Jagapathi Babu, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, YG Mahendran, Thalaivasal Vijay, Nizhalgal Ravi, Sri Ranjani, and Abhirami Venkatachalam, and is set to premiere in January on Jio Hotstar.
Speaking at the event, Suresh Krissna expressed his gratitude to Durga Stalin and shared his long-standing admiration for Kalaignar Karunanidhi and Rajinikanth, emphasizing that the film was made out of devotion rather than commercial intent. He praised the performances, music by Thenisai Thendral Deva, and dialogues by Pa. Vijay, calling the project a “miracle.”
The event also featured remarks from Mallika Srinivasan, who highlighted the emotional impact of the trailer and the upcoming celebrations for Baba’s 100th birth anniversary. The trailer release marks a significant milestone ahead of the film’s OTT premiere.
