The audio launch of ‘My Lord’, starring Sasikumar and directed by Raju Murugan, was held amid strong appreciation from leading filmmakers and film personalities, who hailed the movie as a powerful, humane and socially relevant work. Produced by Jayanthi Ambedkar Kumar under the Olympia Movies banner, the film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on February 13.Speaking at the event, several directors including Mari Selvaraj, Lingusamy, Bala, Ravikumar, Gnana Vel and Vijay Milton praised Raju Murugan’s uncompromising storytelling and social responsibility, calling My Lord a film that questions power, justice and humanity with emotional depth. Actor Sasikumar, who plays a central and intense role, said the film is not a courtroom drama but a story about power in the hands of an ordinary man, stressing that the title reflects the inner psychology of the protagonist.
Composer Sean Roldan’s music received unanimous praise, with many speakers describing it as deeply rooted in emotion and narrative. Actress Chaithra was also widely appreciated for her natural and impactful performance. Director Raju Murugan, in an emotional speech, credited producer Ambedkar Kumar for trusting him during a difficult phase of his life and allowing complete creative freedom.
Featuring Sasikumar, Chaithra, Jayaprakash, Guru Somasundaram, Asha Sarath and others, My Lord blends social satire, family emotions and political commentary, positioning itself as a meaningful yet accessible entertainer. The film will be released across Tamil Nadu by Sri Kumaran Films.
