The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is gearing up for a major public meeting at the G-Corner Ground in Tiruchirappalli as part of its election mobilisation efforts in Tamil Nadu on March 13.According to party sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is planning to participate in key campaign events in the state on March 1, March 7 and March 13. The Trichy meeting is expected to be one of the significant gatherings during this phase of the campaign.
On 1 March, Modi will address rally in Madurai followed by 7 March in Vellore.
The alliance, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and other partners, is making elaborate arrangements for the rallies.
Senior leaders from constituent parties are also expected to take part in the meetings.
Meanwhile, Preparations are underway at the G-Corner Ground in Tiruchy to accommodate a large turnout, with organisers viewing the event as a show of strength ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.
