Suriya-starrer Viswanath & Sons, directed by Venky Atluri, has crossed the Rs 200-crore mark worldwide, the makers announced officially.

Released globally on August 14, 2026, the film achieved the milestone within a short span of its theatrical run. Centred on family relationships, emotions and feel-good moments, the film has been positioned as a complete family entertainer.

The latest achievement adds another Rs 200-crore grosser to Suriya’s recent box-office run. Following Karuppu, Viswanath & Sons has now joined the Rs 200-crore club, further strengthening the actor’s commercial standing.

Directed by Venky Atluri, the film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas, with Srikara Studios presenting it.

The film also stars Mamitha Baiju, Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in prominent roles.

GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music, while Nimish Ravi handles the cinematography and Naveen Nooli is the editor. Bungalow is the art director and V. Venkat has choreographed the action sequences.

The makers expect the film’s theatrical run to continue strongly following its latest box-office milestone.
