Priyanka Rajakumaran, daughter of actor Devayani and filmmaker Rajkumaran, will play the female lead in Black Night Boys, which has commenced production with a traditional pooja ceremony. Amal Ajith, who has appeared in television serials and gained popularity through social media videos, plays the male lead.
Directed by Sembar V Murugesan, the film is being positioned as a love story aimed at young audiences while offering entertainment for viewers across generations. The makers are planning it as a family entertainer, with romance at its core.
The film has an experienced technical team. Manoj Paramahamsa is handling cinematography, while Joshua Sridhar is composing the music. T Muthuraj is in charge of production design and Elango is the editor. Kannan S serves as art director, PC Stunts will choreograph the action sequences, and Baba Bhaskar will handle the dance choreography. Lyricist Pa Vijay will write the songs.
The film is produced by KI Manikandan, popularly known as Vimal G, under the banners of Arul Murugann Picture and Dream Runway 26th Century. Manikandan brings experience in production supervision, planning and coordination to the project.
