Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) chief coordinator Seeman has ruled out any settlement in the ongoing case against him, asserting that he will face it legally.Speaking to the media, Seeman stated that the allegations against him are baseless, and his petition in the Supreme Court seeks to quash a case that has been pending for 15 years without evidence. He firmly declared, “There is no possibility or necessity for a settlement in this case.”
Seeman also criticized Communist parties, claiming they have shifted from being “comrades to corporate entities.” He questioned the Marxist party’s role in social struggles, accusing them of ignoring rising sexual violence in Tamil Nadu while targeting him. He challenged CPI(M) state secretary K. Balakrishnan, stating, “How can he call me a criminal when the court hasnât convicted me?”
Further criticizing the CPI(M)’s decline, Seeman remarked that the party, once a strong opposition, now holds just six seats. He also mocked Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalinâs statement about granting permission for one lakh protests in three years, questioning if it implied that one lakh issues remain unresolved in the state.
Regarding the case filed by actress Vijayalakshmi, Seeman stated that he is pursuing a legal resolution in court. He reiterated his commitment to fight the allegations and dismissed the possibility of a compromise.
