Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and AIADMK general secretary Edappadi Palaniswami have extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Pongal, one of the most significant harvest festivals celebrated across Tamil Nadu.

In his message, the Chief Minister wished that the festival brings peace, prosperity and happiness to every household. He emphasised Pongal’s spirit of gratitude, especially towards farmers, who play a crucial role in sustaining the agricultural foundation of the state. Stalin also highlighted the importance of family, tradition and cultural values, saying that these elements strengthen social harmony and unity.

The Chief Minister urged citizens to celebrate the festival in a joyful and safe manner, abiding by all necessary precautions. He also expressed his hope that Pongal will renew everyone’s enthusiasm and foster new beginnings for the year ahead.

Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami has extended his heartfelt Pongal festival wishes to the people of Tamil Nadu, urging everyone to celebrate the harvest festival with joy, unity and gratitude.

In his message, Palaniswami highlighted Pongal’s importance as a time to honour farmers, whose hard work sustains the agricultural backbone of the state. He expressed his hope that the festival brings peace, prosperity and happiness to all families, particularly the farming community, and promotes social harmony across communities.

Palaniswami also called on citizens to observe the festival with traditional fervour and strengthen cultural values while remaining mindful of safety and public welfare during the celebrations. Pongal, one of Tamil Nadu’s most cherished festivals, marks the beginning of the auspicious harvest season and is celebrated with rituals, family gatherings and festive feasts across the state.
