The makers of GV Prakash’s 25th feature film, Kingston, have unveiled the film’s second single, ‘Manda Bathram’, on Saturday. The song is a gaana number penned and sung by Gana Francis, with GV Prakash himself composing the music.Recently, the team announced that the film has entered the dubbing stage, marking a significant milestone after completing filming.
Directed by debutant Kamal Prakash, Kingston is touted as India’s first sea fantasy adventure with elements of horror. The teaser hints at GV Prakash’s character embarking on a mysterious search on an abandoned ship, known as a point of no return.
The film features Divyabharathi as the female lead, alongside Chetan, Azhagam Perumaal, Antony, Sabumon Abdusamad, Arunachaleswaran, and Rajesh Balachandiran in pivotal roles.
With GV Prakash handling the music, the film also boasts cinematography by Gokul Benoy, editing by San Lokesh, and art direction by SS Moorthy. Kingston is produced by GV Prakash and Umesh KR Bansal.
The official release date for the film is yet to be announced.
