The first look poster of the upcoming Tamil film Magenta, starring Shanthnu Bhagyaraj and Anjali Nair, was released on Friday, delighting fans and movie lovers. The poster shows Anjali’s character driving a car with Shanthnu beside her, and hints at deeper emotional layers in the story. “Behind this colour lies a truth she never wanted to face,” reads the caption shared by the makers, suggesting complex shades in the characters.Directed by Bharath Mohan and produced by Brand Blitz Entertainment, Magenta is described as a psychological romantic drama that explores the fragile connection between two people at vulnerable points in their lives. The film’s teaser is expected to be released soon.
The technical team includes cinematographer Ballu, music composer Dharan Kumar, and editor Pavithran K. The movie was shot in Chennai and Kotagiri, and also features actors such as RJ Anandhi, Bucks, Archana Ravichandran, Sharath Ravi, Soundarya Saravanan and Badava Gopi in important roles. Magenta is slated to hit theatres in 2026.
