The upcoming Tamil film Vowels has officially unveiled its title look and revealed a star-studded ensemble cast, with veteran actors Yugi Sethu and Chinni Jayanth leading the project. The film is being touted as a fresh experiment in storytelling, described by its creators as an “atlas” of love rather than a conventional linear narrative.Directed collaboratively by Dhilip Kumar, Sangeethanath, Hemanth Kumar, Jagan Rajendran, and Santhosh Ravi, Vowels weaves together five distinct love stories, each inspired by one of the five vowel letters of the alphabet. The segments represent different emotional and relational terrains — A for Attraction, E for Emotion, I for Intimacy, O for Obsession, and U for Unconditional — with each story functioning as its own universe within the larger emotional map.
Producer Raju Sheregar presents the film with a diverse cast including Samyuktha Vishwanathan (known for Katchi Sera), Raj Ayyappa (of Valimai fame), Deepak Paramesh, Nandu, Bharath Bopanna, Sharath Ravi, Vijayashree, Kajal Choudhary, Sidhu Kumaresan, Vijyetha Vashist, Peter K, Akshitha Bopaiah, Bharath Mylari, Hemanth Kumar, Dharshini, Priyanka Chandrashekar, and Arul Kumar.
The film’s technical crew features Keerthan Poojaary and Sandeep Alluri as cinematographers, Saravana Subramaniam as the composer, Harish Komme as editor, and M.K. Madhi as art director, promising a rich sensory experience that explores love’s many hues.
Vowels positions itself as a bold and expressive romantic anthology that navigates the emotional geography of love through its unique structure and ensemble performances.
