Chennai, May 8:
Amid ongoing speculation over possible post-poll alignments, T. K. S. Elangovan has asserted that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam remain ideologically opposed and cannot be equated.
He clarified that no decision has been taken regarding any support or alliance, adding that such matters rest entirely with party president M. K. Stalin. Party members, he said, would follow whatever decision is ultimately made.
His remarks come at a time when political activity has intensified following a fractured mandate, with multiple parties exploring possible combinations to form a stable government.
