Mumbai, May 25:

Rajasthan Royals stormed into the IPL 2026 playoffs with a commanding 30-run win over Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium, thanks to a match-winning performance from Jofra Archer.

Batting first, Rajasthan Royals posted a strong 205 for 8, recovering from an early wobble with late fireworks, including a quick 32 off 15 balls from Archer.

Mumbai Indians’ chase never quite took off after early setbacks, including the dismissal of Rohit Sharma for a duck. Despite a fighting 60 from Suryakumar Yadav and a brisk cameo from Hardik Pandya, MI fell short at 175 for 9.

Archer then returned to dominate with the ball, picking up three crucial wickets — including those of Hardik Pandya and Naman Dhir — to finish with impressive figures and seal the win.
