Chennai, June 16: Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) Chief Coordinator Seeman has strongly opposed the proposed hydrocarbon drilling project off the Parangipettai coast in Cuddalore district, urging the Tamil Nadu government to deny environmental clearance. The project, proposed by Hindustan Oil Exploration Company, involves setting up four offshore hydrocarbon wells at an estimated cost of Rs 425 crore.
