BJP will win big in Kovai, say Annamalai


State BJP President K Annamalai concluded his election campaign in Coimbatore parliamentary constituency with a bold assertion of securing 60% of the votes, signaling a seismic shift in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape. Addressing party cadres and the public at Masakkalipalayam, Annamalai forecasted the imminent demise of Dravidian parties in the state, heralding a new era of BJP dominance.
Asserting the BJP’s commitment to combating corruption, Annamalai condemned the alleged bribery attempts by rival parties and pledged to uphold the integrity of the electoral process. Promising decisive action against drugs and terrorism, Annamalai vowed to bring branches of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and National Investigation Agency (NIA) to Coimbatore if elected as MP.
In a poignant moment, Annamalai turned emotional while addressing inmates at the Nana Nani old-age home in Vadavalli. Reflecting on the plight of the elderly residents, Annamalai underscored the importance of familial care and compassion, highlighting the challenges faced by those in the twilight of their lives.
Looking ahead to the future, Annamalai urged the youth to exercise their franchise diligently, emphasizing the critical role of every voter in shaping the destiny of the nation. With the INDIA bloc yet to announce its prime ministerial candidate, Annamalai expressed confidence in the BJP’s electoral prospects and dismissed the opposition’s relevance in the second phase of the Lok Sabha polls.
