Moscow, Sept 4: Russian President Vladimir Putin said there is still a chance to end the Ukraine war through talks “if common sense prevails.” But he warned that Russia would use “force of arms” if needed.Putin spoke in Beijing on Wednesday after signing a deal for a new gas pipeline to China. He said he sees “a light at the end of the tunnel,” pointing to US President Donald Trump’s “sincere desire” to push for peace.
“It seems to me that if common sense prevails, it will be possible to agree on a solution,” Putin told reporters. “If not, then we will resolve all tasks before us by force of arms.”
