Top BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a dig at the ruling DMK accusing it of pursuing dynastic politics and said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin main aim was to make his son and Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin as the CM. Meanwhile, Union Defence Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also held a road show.
Speaking at a road show at Modakurichi constituency in Erode district canvassing votes for BJP candidate Kruthika, Amit Shah
said a victorious alliance was formed with th AIADMK for the April 23 Assembly elections.
Charging the DMK regime of involved in corruption, he said once the NDA government assumed office in the state after this elections, all the corrupt acts of the DMK regime would be brought to an end and Tamil Nadu’s lost pride would be restored.
He also said the law and order situation, which has deteriorated under the DMk rule, would be restored
Stating that family politics has been continuing in the state under the DMK, Amit Shah said after late leader M Karunanidhi, his son Stalin became the Chief Minister. Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi has made his electoral foray and elevated as the Deputy CM. Amit Shah also took part in a road show in Mylapore.
Meanwhile, Rajnath Singh held a road show at Vasudevanallur (Reserved) constituency and campaigned for BJP candidate Ananthan Ayyasamy in the southern Tenkasi district.
