Lyca Productions has unveiled the first-look poster of Indian 3, featuring the striking taglines ‘War Mode’ and ‘The Resurgence Begins’, triggering fresh curiosity about the next chapter in the Kamal Haasan–Shankar franchise.
The announcement comes nearly two years after Indian 2, which failed to live up to the enormous expectations surrounding the popular franchise and delivered a disappointing box-office performance. With the latest instalment, the makers appear to be positioning the story for a more intense and action-driven turn, while seeking to restore audience interest in the series.
Kamal Haasan returns as Senapathy, the veteran vigilante whose fight against corruption forms the core of the franchise. The film also features S J Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Siddharth in important roles.
